Dr. Ashley was born and raised in Tyler, TX. She grew up with a desire to become a doctor and help others, but was limited by traditional medicine ideology in her education. During graduate school, she worked ER shifts as a scribe at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital to pursue her childhood goal.
After some time in the ER, she began suffering from debilitating migraines and generally declining health. Dr. Ashley sought the help of a chiropractor for the first time in 2010.
Following recovery, she realized chiropractic is the foundationally better approach to achieving wellness. In 2011, she enrolled in Parker College of Chiropractic to help others reach optimal health and graduated in 2014.
Dr. Ashley and her husband, Terry, opened Foundation Chiropractic in the fall of 2015 and have steadily grown as a community.
After suffering a health crisis in late 2016, Dr. Ashley and Terry established significant lifestyle changes to reduce toxicity and improve their general health. Together they lost 120 lbs, take no prescription medication, and simply enjoy life without the drain of poor health. They now share this passion by educating their patients how to reach similar goals.
Dr. Ashley is a member of ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and has additional training in perinatal care including preconception, prenatal, and postpartum care, as well as pediatric care and development. She loves taking care of families at all ages and stages of life.
